"Live to work" or "Work to LIVE ! ! !

Villager. Posts: 748	(A "MEN'S FORUM" SPECIAL!) Work. It takes up an awful lot of your time! Sometimes it seems you “live to work”, rather than “work to LIVE”! So, when that cheque is paid into your account at the end of every month ---- after you've paid the bills and got the shopping in, you want to reward yourself somehow! Hell ---- you've EARNED it, you DESERVE it!! Women buy shoes. FACT! Us blokes, on the other hand, are a bit more varied in our interests and subsequent indulgences! I like fossils! I'm a big kid when it comes to dinosaurs and prehistoric life, and alongside the many samples of “interesting” and beautiful geology I have accumulated, my living-room is beginning to resemble a museum! I treat myself to a lot of CD's too! Oh yeah ---- and a lot of booze, **** and porn! JOKE!!! (ish)! What's your monthly extavagance? How do you spend YOUR “pocket money”?

phoebe81 Posts: 5,008	My biggest extravagance is my dancing. I go to London for lessons in Argentine tango. I have one of the best teachers in England and she is worth every pennyI also go dancing 2 other nights a week and I buy special shoes and clothes for tango. But I love it so it's worth it I'm not that into shoes but I love clothes and underwear and perfume and all things girly

Vetis Posts: 366	work to live for me..any job as long as the pay is the same or more will do me. I spend mine on WoW, books, music, movies and when i can tattoos...gave up with piercings..too many scars from them lol would spend it on travel too, some people i would like to see.

And I HATE it But I still spend enough on clothes and shoes, toys for sonny, stuff for the house and going for a meal once in a while.. The first part my husband is oblivious of. All I wear I've had for AGEEEEESSSSSSS.......
