The NATO forces have shown their hatred for democracy by placing Kharazi as President of the occupying forces, he is more corrupt than our own leaders and that takes some doing.

Brown states if Kharazi fails he will be shunned on the international scene, shouldn't that mean Brown and all other European leaders should be shunned as they stood over the greatest collapse of western economies since the 30s?

The Afghan war cannot be won, not because the taleban are superior fighters but because European leaders know that to implement a military strategy that would win the war would ostracize/outrage muslims at home. Labour are counting on the Muslim vote to regain power so they will not do what it takes to win the Afghan war. I don't want to sound like a key board warrior, but war is evil, you cannot go to a country and hope to win hearts and minds while you are viewed as an invading army, you have to destroy that country or there is no point fighting. Simply the west has been neutered by the HR industry and liberalism and so fighting guerrilla wars are impossible no matter how superior our military may be.

Labour are inherently anti-military, they hate the armed forces and so are the wrong government to be in charge of a war. Secondly they will not risk the inevitable civilian causalities as they know it will spark outrage within muslim communities in the UK(multi-culturalism?). It's time to take the armed force home and deport.......

There is no need for any troops in afghanistan.

With all the tax money that I and many others pay for all the sophisticated weapons and bombs, the whole thing would be over in 30 minutes, and could be handled from anywhere.

Of course france and russia would say it was awful and they would never speak to us again, but give it a week, and it would be business as usual.

Expat according to intelligence reports the US knew where Bin Laden was hiding 2 days after 9/11, somewhere between Afghan and Pakistan border they should have dropped a Nuke on his a$$ and that would have served as a warning to all future Jihadists, but we can't do that as Muslims at home would be outraged even though they keep telling us they're as patriotic as us normal Brits, can't say indigenous as allegedly there is no such thing.

It looks like the Danes are considering pulling their armed forces out of Afghanistan, stating it's a meaningless war. "As far as I am concerned the perspectives are chilling, because it is increasingly difficult to explain to relatives why their sons have to offer their lives. We should have a clear exit strategy."

That was the clear statement from the Chairman of the Danish Officers Association Commander Bent Fabricius who said in Jyllands-Posten that he wishes to 'question the entire project' - a statement supported by the chairmen of the organisations of both NCOs and Privates.

The remarkable statements came the day after several Danish politicians acknowledged the fact that the goal of democracy in Afghanistan is no longer credible - instead pointing to the War on Terror.

Former assistant of the US treasury dispels the myth the US will be any different under Obama. He states "Obama has escalated war in Afghanistan; started a new war in Pakistan; tolerated or supported a military coup that overthrew the elected president of Honduras; is constructing 7 new US military bases in Colombia, South America; is going forward with various military projects designed to secure US global military hegemony, such as the Prompt Global Strike initiative that intends to provide the US with the capability to strike anywhere on earth within 60 minutes; is working to destabilize the government in Iran, with military attack still on the table as an option; supports America's new military African Command; intends to encircle Russia with US bases in former constituent parts of the Soviet Union; has suborned NATO troops as mercenaries in US wars of aggression."

"How should Europe react? Europe should disassociate from the United States and go into active opposition to US foreign policy. Europeans should demand that their governments withdraw from NATO as it serves no European interest. The two aggressive militarist powers, the US and Israel, should be sanctioned by the UN and embargoed. Instead, Europe is complicit in US and Israeli war crimes"

Damned if we do, damned if we don't. It's a no win situation. This was Bush's revenge and the UK government jumped on the bandwagon and then tried to sell us the line that Britain would be a safer place. SAFER place?? The UK will never be safe again. WE have home grown terrorists ready to attack us.
